Braided Bliss started out as a blog and transformed into a beach lifestyle brand. It was born from the idea that kindness is made for every day of the year. Each shirt sold came with a handwritten message-in-a-bottle and donated $1 to Kind Campaign; school programs to raise awareness & healing to the effects of girl on girl bullying.

I created a community of 3,400+ on Instagram, 1,000+ on Pinterest, and 400 on Twitter. I was able to donate over $450 and experienced returning customers both online and at markets. I sold my shirts in 4 stores; 3 were in the San Diego area and one was in New Mexico.

From the very beginning, it was important to me that everything had a unified vibe. From brand colors/logo to packaging to online, I wanted Braided Bliss to be a beachy, blissful experience for customers wherever they encountered it.
